Types of Orioles Oriole's Habitat How they Migrate
There are five types of Orioles. In the winter Orioles live in Southern Mexico and the winter habitat is in a nest overhanging the city Orioles usely migate by night, but loose bands from5-10 may sometimes be seen just above the treetops

1 Bullocks Oriole

Orioles stay hidden among the leaves on the trees Before migrating, it takes 2-3 weeks to prepare
2 Baltimore Oriole Other places an Oriole can be locaed is in River Groves and tall shady trees with shrubby undergrowth By preparing they shed their worn feathers and grow new feathers
3 Ochard Oriole Orioles usually perfer open areas with groups of large deciduos trees, thats along streams, country roads, parks, or orchards When Orioles migrate, they usually travel for about 150 miles each and every night, flying at the speed of 20 miles per hour
4 Hooded Oriole The Oriole's nest is very different from other birds' nests. Mostly females are the ones who actually create and build the nest They do a lot of eating before they migrate because they use their fat as they fly
5 Scott's Oriole The Oriole's nest is a pouch about 6in. long and about 3in. tall Fat is the birds' main source of energy during migration
